We will be participating in the “Race to the Castle” event this June in aid of Macmillan. The race takes place over 2 days and covers 100km to finish at Banburgh Castle on the beautiful Northumberland coast. 

Our training started as a result of running together in lockdown. We began with modest expectations and distances but as our confidence and endurance improved, we realised it was a chance to raise money for an amazing organisation that we have benefited from over the last few years. We want to say thank you to those wonderful nurses at Macmillan who really do make a difference to families and their lives when touched by cancer.
