After  initially  getting touch with Dame Sarah Storey and her husband Barney for some advise on adapted  bikes I was incredibly lucky for them to offer to provide an complete adapted bike for me.  The bike is a dream,  carbon frame, Electric group-set and finally a set up that is comfortable and easy for me to ride.

Dame Sarah is patron of Boot out Breast Cancer, its aim is to provide equipment for as many breast cancer units in NHS Hospitals as possible. I am really grateful for the time and effort Dame Sarah and Barney put into my bike and raising money for this really worthy charity is my way of saying thanks!

The Boot Out Breast Cancer Cycling Club was founded in 2016 by their patron Dame Sarah Storey after the success of the Boot Out Breast Cancer women’s racing teams in 2014 and 2015. The club has been set up to provide nationwide opportunities for people to get involved with cycling at all levels and to provide greater visibility for the Boot Out Breast Cancer charity. Billed as the sister club to the professional women’s racing team, the club is a chance for all ages and abilities to belong to the same team as our patron and her fellow international riders who everyday inspire people of all shapes and sizes to give cycling a go for health and well-being
