The Fostering Network - China Challenge 2010 · 22 October 2010 ·
I my husband and 2 friends, Di and Julie are 4, 40 Somethings wanting to make a difference "we Hope" so this year we have decided to take up a Challenge.
So we are taking on this years Challenge for the Fostering Network, walking the Great Wall of China over 10 days, we hope to raise the money between us, with the hope to make a difference in the lives of Children in Foster Care, giving them a brighter start in life.
My Husband and I have been Foster Carers for just over a year now and know first hand how love and caring for these children makes a difference, and the support we get from places like the Fostering Network is in-valuable. We hope you are able to help in our aim to raise the much needed money to help continue the good work the Fostering Network do.
We have now completed our Challenge, Walking the Great Wall of China was the most physically demanding thing we have ever done, but it was and adventure and a privilege to do. We would like to thank all those who have supported us. We have added a few photographs to give you an insight into what we faced during our challenge. Thank you to you all for the support you have shown us.
Thank you
