Our Branch is an independent charity run mainly by volunteers. Our main activity is animal welfare, taking in rescued animals, caring for them back to health and finding them a forever home. Animals that come into our care are distressed, sick, injured, abandoned or abused.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The RSPCA Essex South West Branch are my local branch whom I volunteer for.  I recently helped them to rehome several cats in lockdown. The main activity of the Branch is animal welfare and rescue.  The Branch supports the RSPCA Inspectors and help with boarding, veterinary care and finding new homes for companion animals.  Animals that come into care are distressed, sick, injured, abandoned or homeless.  All animals who are rehomed are provided with their initial course of vaccinations, worm & flea treatments, they will be microchipped and neutered.  This is what the money raised will be going towards, and also costs for any long-term medication are often picked up by the Branch.  It is entirely managed by volunteers, and I know first hand how many unpaid hours are put into the running of the Branch each week.  I would like to help support the amazing work they are doing.
