Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

This has been an adventure for me. It started 12 months ago when travelling to my dream continent, Antarctica. I went there to visit the wildlife and ended up meeting some lovely people and making good friends. Now some of us are embarking in a few weeks time on another adventure, the Ugandan Marathon.  

I will be running 10kms there which for me is quite a challenge. From having no running skills and a bare minimum level of fitness, I have been building up the resistance to endure the run. Although I struggled to get to my first 5k, I have finally reached the 10K mark and hope to run with a good time in Uganda. 

I am fundraising for a local charity which is close to our heart and any donations to improve and change the lives of locals will be greatly appreciated.
