This is me (Paula) with Betty, who we rehomed from B.A.R.K.S. last December. Betty has three legs, but it doesn’t hold her back at all. In fact, she is faster than our other cat Morris when she wants to be!

The Oxford Half Marathon is on Sunday 13 October 2013, this is the first Half Marathon I have run, so I am not expecting to win (!!) but to complete it will be a great achievement.

I have run a few 10K’s over the last 5 years or so, but this will be my longest run by far. A Half Marathon is 21K (13.1 miles).

I have lived in Banbury for a year with my husband and our (now) two cats. I have a full time job, selling beauty products to customers all over the UK and Ireland, so fitting in training is sometimes a challenge. 

I have decided to run this Half Marathon, to raise money for B.A.R.K.S. (Banbury Animal Rescue & Kindness Service), I like to support local charities and B.A.R.K.S. certainly is that.
