I have been volunteering for Marie Curie since 2010 when cancer dealt my family a heavy blow by taking my 2 maternal aunts just a few months apart. I also lost my beloved Granny Connolly to cancer and seen first hand the fantastic care and support she was given by these great nurses. I wanted to give something back to this charity for all they have done for my family over the years and so I joined Omagh Friends of Marie Curie. Through this group I could volunteer my time and do some fundraising for the nurses in our local area. Unfortunately our charity has not been able to do most of our usual collections, quizzes, tea parties etc  for a full year now, and we are struggling ☹️ So I am trying to raise a few pounds  virtually. Any size of donation is greatly appreciated 🌼
