World Lupus Day takes place on 10th May each year and is an opportunity for lupus organisations around the world to come together to raise awareness and funds in support of the estimated 1.5 million people living with the disease globally.You can find a range of activities to take part in on the LUPUS UK website at www.lupusuk.org.uk/world-lupus-day-may-10thLUPUS UK has missed out on a lot of income during the pandemic as many major fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed. Our lovely mum would have turned 75 years young on the 9th May this year. Unfortunately she passed away in January 2021 after many years suffering from Lupus & the many complications in brought. Mum was a ‘walker’ and loved nothing more than walking the roads! Please help me raise funds for an amazing charity and remember Brigid Magennis.
