Event: 10 in 10 2022 in aid of the MS Society, on 18 June 2022
Climb 10 of the most challenging peaks that the Lake District has to offer. An amazing challenge set in a stunning location.

Story

Please support us as we take part in the  5 in 5  challenge on 18th June.

We are walking 5 peaks in 5 hours. The route covers Causey Pike (637m), a very scary ridge bit, Scar Crags (672m), Outerside (568m), Stile end (447m),  Barrow (455m) and back to the swinside inn.

The rest of the group are walking 10 peaks in 10 hours.

This challenge was established by Yvonne Booth in response to her husband Duncan's diagnosis with MS at 39 years. Duncan was an elite Rock climber and has not given up hope, even to cycling his electric bike to Sweden for a family wedding.

Over 130,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
