So here we are... I promised myself when I was ready I would take on a Fundraising event for Grampian Womans Aid.

For those of you who don't know Domestic Abuse was the reason why I decided to bravely leave my marriage with my two eldest children in lockdown 2020.

When I was asked to do the Kilt Walk for 2026 I knew the 18 miles would be a challenge for me with my FND but a challenge worth taking on as my determination to help raise money, awareness, courage and a voice to other woman has always been a goal of mine.

The Kilt Walk will be a piece of therapy for me, it will involve alot of emotion, letting go and strengthening my power as a woman.

I don't walk as a victim.

I walk as a survivor.

I walk as a woman whos hope, courage and strength has lead her to today.

I walk these miles for the women who have found there voices and for those who are yet to.

One step at a time.

One day at a time.
