Story

This is Malcolm's story, or at least it is a part,

He was a giant of a man with an even bigger heart,

Much loved Dad, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Brother, Son

Valued work mate, dearest friend - always up for fun

In September of last year he passed from this earth,

His colleagues chose this challenge to demonstrate his worth

On the anniversary of the day he passed away,

They will start 4 marathons - a new one every day,

London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris will see this task take
place,

4 Eurostar destinations are the venues for this race,

Monies raised will benefit such an amazing place

A space that is a haven during the darkest times we face

St Christopher's is more then just a hospice, it's a sanctuary
of calm,

The staff and the surroundings provide a soothing balm

When Malcolm and before him Sue faced their 'end  of
days'

Exceptional care was  given them in so very many ways

We owe eternal gratitude for the kindness shown

The restful space to share with them so they didn't pass alone

I wonder if you're thinking that in this day and age,

It seems like there is always a new 'just giving page'

If you feel like lately, you've given enough or frankly you just
don't have any spare

Please don't feel obliged to give - we can empathise
-there's
another way to show you care
