Our grandfather passed away on Christmas day in 2006 from the brutal illness that is Alzheimers. This disease slowly stole everything from him and took him from us all too soon. For years I have been intending to run the New York City Marathon in his memory and in aid of the fantastic work that Alzheimer Scotland does. I have finally run out of excuses not to do it!
