Hi,

Once again I would to give a big hearty thank you to all those who kindly donated last year to my Just Giving page and to let you know that your contributions helped towards our team Forever friends 1 & 2 raising just over £8,000 the most raised by an individula team.

This is my 5th year and once again I am dusting off my trainers to participate in this years Relay For Life 2026 at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds to raise awareness and vital funds for this charity- Cancer Research UK.

Our team with others of like minded people will be taking part in this 24hr walking relay where members of all teams participate in walking all day and night [in themed fancy dress] in unity to reflect that Cancer Never Sleeps.

I have, like most other people have been affected by the loss of family members, friends to this deadly disease and it does not discriminate who it affects. Whether you are young, old, fit, healthy, in your prime, stars of sport, entertainment or Royalty, we are all as vulnerable as the next person.

So, our Fund Raising aim is important to raise as much money as possible to help fund research at Cancer Reasearch Uk, the world's leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives.

Once again, unapologetically I am reaching out to friends, works colleagues, business aquaintances to help me reach and better my target of £1,000.

So I would ask all of you to dig deep into your pockets to donate to my Just Giving Page as little or as much as you can spare or wish to donate to this worthy cause which is very close personally to me and my family who will also be participating in this event.

Stand Up To Cance,r as together we are beating cancer. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by this disease and rely heavily on the research undertaken by Cancer Research UK.

£60 could buy a microscope lens, allowing our scientists to focus on the small details that could help us beat cancer.

£2000 could fund the CanRisk project for one day, which is developing a way to accurately predict people's risk of developing cancer so we can spot the disease earlier.

When you fundraise for Relay For Life, you’re helping to bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
