Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to row 21.6 miles from the Docklands to Ham in a dragon boat with 15 others! Given that my only exercise during the summer holidays has been dog walking, a few kayaking attempts and a couple of tennis games, I will need to rise to the challenge quickly! I have been hitting the gym hard since the beginning of the month so I do not lose all my strength in the first two miles on the Thames….

I have taken on this challenge to support our lovely friends Iain and Charis Armitage who sadly lost their son Lachlan just before his 3rd birthday. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can in aid of Shooting Star Chase - the incredible charity that provided Hospice care for Lachlan and support for the Armitage family.
