BWHC fund the little things that go a long way to relieve anxiety, promote recovery and healing, as well as providing the added extras that make a patient’s stay that bit easier. From iPads, games for children, book trolleys, to in-hospital arts and entertainment and a mobile hairdresser for the wards. Recent funding has been invested in end-of-life training courses, a new playroom, dementia clocks, and equipment. All this in addition to the most innovative and emerging technologies and treatments that can change or even save a patient’s life that wouldn’t otherwise be available. None of us know when we might need this kind of support (hopefully never) so please if you can help us in any way to help them. We will be so grateful.
