I have been working with Sport Changes Life since their inception over four years ago. They work with kids and teenagers that most other organisations steer clear of. These kids are from difficult backgrounds, live in deprived areas, have dropped out of education, are unemployed and have little hope for their future. The sport and educational outreach programmes they use are working and are proven to help lower criminal activity and anti social behaviour in the communities they work in. We're determined to raise much needed funds for a charity that uses sport and education to raise the hopes and aspirations of a forgotten generation of kids in deprived areas. Our government calls these kids NEETS (no education, employment or training) - at Sport Changes Life we think of them as real people with real issues that we can make a positive difference too.
