Hugh & Mags Forgie planned to cycle from Glasgow to the Big Toe of Italy (Reggio di Callabria; ~ 2000 miles) in July 2020 to raise funds for the Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre (POG-LRC). Sadly Hugh died of leukaemia before he was able complete the cycle. In Hugh’s memory, we would like to invite everyone to cycle, walk, run or swim as many of his 2000 miles as you can in July 2021, to help raise vital funds for POG-LRC. We would like as many eager volunteers to take part so please do share the link for this webpage and help us raise vital funds to support Scotland’s leading Leukaemia Research Centre, within the University of Glasgow.

Our students and staff have already committed to undertaking significant challenges involving running, cycling (500 miles!), walking, paddleboarding and hill walking. We will update the website with the exciting challenges as they come in.
