Story

On 22nd September, I will be one of 30 people abseiling down the side of the 244m Canary Wharf Tower (1 Canada Square) in London's Docklands. I have never abseiled before, don't particularly like heights, and am pretty nervous about it.

The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2004, "Music and the Arts for Everyone", aims to create new opportunities to experience and take part in the arts, regardless of age, ability or background. The principal beneficiary is the London Symphony Orchestra's education and community programme, LSO Discovery, but the appeal will also benefit the Almeida Theatre, the City Arts Trust, the Whitechapel Gallery, the Unicorn Theatre and the London Schools Symphony Orchestra
