Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. As you may know I am raising money for Bonnie Babies by running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 31^st of May.

Bonnie Babies are a charity that helped Sophie (my Sister), Jake and Anais when they lost Jude, so I am hoping to raise as much as possible so that they can help other parents when they need it. Please give what you can, I know that the financial climate may mean money is in short supply, but that is exactly the time that smaller charities, like Bonnie Babies, need support. As I am writing this there are about 14 weeks to the marathon and my training has been interrupted by a combination of bad weather and a bad back which means alternating trips to the Osteopath and the Physio, combined with doses of nurofen before a run. I am up to about 13 mile runs at the moment with a half marathon just around the corner. I do a big run at the weekends, adding a mile on each week and need to match whatever I run at the weekend with an equivalent amount of miles during the week.

I will try and keep this page up to date for those that might be interested in the progress or just interested to know if a 37 year old with a bad back can drag himself around the streets of Brighton and Swindon with the regularity required to avoid passing out at the 18 mile mark.
