Story
Mud, water, climbing, swinging, crawling, more mud, many miles, plenty of obstacles and a little bit more mud!
I’ve chosen to raise funds for CPSL Mind because over the years I’ve struggled with my own mental health. At the end of 2016 I started receiving treatment to help deal with these issues and nearly a year on from the end of my treatment I feel that things have gotten easier and I’m a little more stable. I still have wobbles and some days feel too much, but I’ve learnt that it’s OK to feel like this and I know ways of coping.
One of the biggest helps I’ve found is exercising. Whether it’s running, circuits or just lifting weights, that single point of focus is quite relaxing, so I figured I’d try and put all of the training I do to good use and help a worthy cause!
