WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

PBA are once again entering the Wateraid Raft race for an 11th consecutive year! We are hoping not only to match our winning position from last year but also to smash our previous donation records...

Up to 40 themed rafts will battle it out on the river Thames in this annual legendary event. Each team will design, build and decorate their raft and wear fancy dress based around the theme of Wild West of Reading.

Since 2016, Thames Water has been working together with WaterAid to transform lives in two towns in Malawi – the world’s poorest country. Currently in Malawi, 10 million people have no safe place to go to the toilet and 1.7 million people have no access to safe clean water.

WaterAid enables the world’s poorest people to gain access  to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. These basic human rights underpin heath, education and livelihoods and form the first, essential step in overcoming poverty.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online, it’s secure and easy!
