Pacific Crest Trail · 20 April 2019

We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. We’re here to make sure children and young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. Join our fight.

Story

Come April 20th you will find me walking, camping, eating and living on the Pacific Crest Trail, a ridiculously long path (2,653 miles to be exact) which will lead me from Mexico to Canada. My goals are...

a) not get eaten by bears

b) return home having had a great adventure

c) raise some money for Young Minds

Young Minds is a mental health charity, whose aims include ensuring that young people get the best possible mental health support. They have a helpline for parents, a wealth of mental health resources available on their website, they reach out to schools, and they campaign to build a society where there is no stigma surrounding our mental health. You can find out more about them on their website: https://youngminds.org.uk/
