We will be running in the Great North Run on September 12th, 2021. We had initially planned to run in the 2020 GNR but this was cancelled due to Covid and so we are running this year instead.

In late December 2019, we suddenly lost my brother Richie Dobbs at the age of 37. Richie had been talking about running in the Great North Run and now that he no longer can, we wanted to do it for him. 

Myself (Phil Dobbs) along with Kathryn Dodds (Richie’s cousin) and Joseph Connify (Military Veteran) will be pooling our efforts to raise funds for ‘Help for Heroes’ who carry out fantastic work assisting veterans once they have left the forces.

A bit about Help for Heroes….. 

Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. Your fundraising helps them recover and get on with their lives. So far we've supported more than 25,000 people and won’t stop until every veteran gets the support they deserve.
