Deloitte Ride Across Britain
Campaign by Sense (RCN 289868)
A page for those taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain for Sense - the national charity that supports people who are deafblind, those with sensory impairments and those with complex needs.

Story

After cycling from London to Paris two years ago for the British Heart Foundation, I have taken up a greater challenge this time. I will be cycling 969 miles in 9 days.

I am raising money for Sense, a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives. Deafblindness is a combination of sight and hearing loss that affects a person's ability to communicate, to access all kinds of information, and to get around. There are currently approximately 358,000 people who are deafblind in the UK.
