Story
After cycling from London to Paris two years ago for the British Heart Foundation, I have taken up a greater challenge this time. I will be cycling 969 miles in 9 days.
I am raising money for Sense, a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives. Deafblindness is a combination of sight and hearing loss that affects a person's ability to communicate, to access all kinds of information, and to get around. There are currently approximately 358,000 people who are deafblind in the UK.
