Pedal Paddle Peak 2021
Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
Teams of two and four will Pedal, Paddle, Peak, through the beautiful Lake District on Saturday 3 July to help beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

After a tough year we thought it would be good to set our sights on a challenge that would push us both physically and mentally. Also with the year we have all had, charities like Muscular Dystrophy UK have struggled enormously. So this year felt the right time to come together as a group of four, who love a challenge and the outdoors and take on Pedal, Paddle, Peak.

We are going to mountain bike for 30 miles, kayak across a lake, and then to wrap it up climb Helvellyn, the second highest peak in England to raise money for a valuable cause. Any support would be great, we are just hoping to finish it in one piece before nightfall.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 70,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK fund world-class research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
