Twenty aged hikers will be attempting the 3 peaks challenge in May. For some, this is a last hurrah before hitting the 40 milestone; others a beautiful trek with great comradery, scenery, banter, all in a good cause.

We are hiking on behalf of Niemann Pick Type C.  A heriditary degenerative disease that is often labelled as childhood Alzheimer’s disease.  Slowly affecting the immune system of young children, this disease effects 1 in 100,000 families and sadly, no child to date has reached into adulthood.

One of our closest friends is affected by this, and this hike is dedicated to Niemann Pick on his behalf
