Story

I said I would never do it again after last years climb but I am an idiot.

On the weekend of 9th - 11th of July 2021 the Peaky Climbers will be spreading themselves across the length of the country to participate in the 3 Peaks Challenge, raising money for the chosen charity, CALM.

I and 7 other brave team members will push to conquer the challenge within 24 hours. I will be climbing alongside HOWARD, CHUPO, SERGIU, MATT, PHIL, BARRY and ROB, who will assemble at the foot of Ben Nevis at 6am on 10th July with a gruelling 24 hours ahead of them. They will proceed to scale and descend the highest mountain in Scotland, before travelling south to take on Scaffel Pike in the late afternoon, before moving further south-west to vanquish Snowdon in the early hours of the 11th July.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men.CALM PROVIDES> A free and anonymous helpline 0800 58 58 58 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) staffed by trained professionals> Bereavement support > A website www.theCALMzone.net with inspiring content> Campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and mental health.
