Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. As you may know I have entered a bicycle race in France in July. The route is from Gap to Alpe d'Huez, consists of 120 miles, three mountains and 13,000 feet of climbing. Completion is required within 10 hours. The race is a stage of this years Tour de France (The Tour will do the same route a week later) and is quite a challenge for a 49 year old overweight Brit! I would be most grateful if you could help me to raise some funds for a local charity that looks after children in West London. It is a charity that does wonderful work but is in real threat of closing because it is small and is desperately short of funds I am raising funds off line through pledges etc but some friends have told me they prefer to donate on-line, and as a result I set this vehicle up.

Please be warned though that 5% of all funds donated through this medium go to Just Giving, apparently West London Action for Children will receive your money quickly and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
