Story

On Saturday the 19th June 2010, and with a couple of extra hours from Sunday the 20th I ran the West Highland Way Race in 26.00.45. It was certainly a long way with a few more hills than I'd appriciated. I'd hoped to raise £980.00 to represent £10.00 for each mile for the Nick Webber trust but thanks to the generousity of the people below i exceeded this target. Thanks must go to David, Fraiser, Walker, Malcolm, Gareth, Duncan and Lynne who each player a huge part in my sucsess.

The Nick Webber Trust was set up in memory of Nick Webber, who died tragically in a car accident at the age of 28 while working in Malawi as a volunteer lawyer. The Trust helps some of the poorest and most marginalised people in Malawi by working to increase access to justice, access to healthcare, and access to education. They are currently funding a project that is supporting the expansion of a primary school in Usisya, a remote mountain village.

The Trust are a small family based charity that  pay all their own administration fees and so can ensure that my efforts and your money are directly contributing to small children getting an education they deserve. I hope that you would recognise is reason enough to run 1000's of miles and I only have to do 98.
