Three Peaks Challenge 2017 · 16 June 2017 to 18 June 2017 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

A few years ago mine and my brother's grandad was diagnosed with alzhiemers. Alzhiemers is a terrible disease not only for the person suffering from it but also for those around them. Seeing how our Gran and Grandad have been coping with this horrible disease has inspired us to try and raise some money for this cause.

So some buffoon's bright idea was to go on a massive slog and do the national 3 peaks challenge. This involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within a 24 hour period. The 8 of us plan to do this in July with the aid of Tom's parents driving (many thanks).

This is a cause that is close to home for a lot of us, not just my brother and I, and all donations are greatly appreciated.
