We love riding bikes and have decided to put this affliction to good use and raise money for Mencap. Consequently, we're taking part in the annual Pedal to the Pier.

We've opted for the 100km route which starts in Swinton and ends at Blackpool Tower. After overnight stay on the coast, we're riding home again the following day - just for kicks (and to up the challenge a wee bit). 

No doubt it will rain... a lot... which is nice.
