Manchester to Blackpool bike ride · 4 July 2021 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

In memory of Mike Ansell, much loved husband, dad, grandad, friend and so much more to so many.

Mike saddly lost his battle on the 13th of November 2017 to pancreatic cancer! This year will mark 4 years since he passed, he was just 65 years old!

In memory of Mike and in order to raise some money for https://www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk (and have a bit of a laugh in the process) our team are planning on completing the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on the 4th of July this year (Covid permitting 🦠)

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
