Six babies are born with a heart defect in Australia every day. That is over 2200 every year! Each week more than 4 Australians pass away as the result of a congenital heart defect. 

I am one of the Australians born with a heart defect and have received treatment and care throughout my life, much of which would not have been possible without research. 

I want to give back, raise awareness of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and raise some much needed funds to support further research into treatments for heart defects of all types.
