Guts UK is the charity for the digestive system. Our guts have been underfunded, understaffed & undervalued for decades. Guts UK’s work leads to earlier diagnoses, kinder treatments & ultimately, a cure, through funding research, raising awareness, and providing information.

Story

A year on after the tragic passing of my (Milly’s) father from stomach, pancreatic and liver cancer, we have decided to take on a challenge that exceeds anything we have done before.

We have decided to cycle two and a half THOUSAND kilometres across Europe in order to raise money and awareness for a charity that will hopefully be able to help many people who have gone through, are going through or will go through this heartbreaking disease. Guts UK is a charity focused on funding research into the digestive system from top to tail. It is also part of the Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce which represents the 6 less survivable cancers, lung, brain, oesophageal, pancreatic, liver and stomach.

Penne was the last holiday we went on as a family with Graham and therefore feels like a fitting finish line for our crazy challenge. For those of you who knew Graham, you’d know he would be laughing his socks off at the idea of us two pedalling to Pasta.

Please be generous and donate as much as you can!

(Milly hasn’t ridden a bike roughly since she used stabilisers)
