I am walking in memory of my mum who passed away a three years ago. She suffered with dementia for a number of years before her death and it very hard on my dad and the rest of the family. It's so hard to watch someone who you have known all your life vanish before your eyes and become a person you no longer know. For most of you who know me, you will know this walk will be a challenge for me and that is why I am doing it.
