As many of you may know my lovely friend Kerry tragically passed away last month very unexpectedly. In addition to her husband Ian and wider family she also leaves behind two small boys - Oliver (Aged 4) and Rory (Aged 8 months).

My NCT friends and I, who saw her every Friday for four and a half years, have struggled to know how to properly honour her memory and we have decided to take part in the Shine 2013 night half marathon next month to raise money for Daisy's Dream, a charity specifically aimed at families of young children coping with bereavement.

Many of our friends have felt affected by her death and particularly those with children of a young age. I would be so grateful for any financial support towards this most worthy charity no matter how small - it all counts.
