Addiction Family Support was established by Elizabeth Burton-Phillips who lost one of her twin sons, Nick, to heroin. Open to anyone who is affected or bereaved by a loved one's harmful use of alcohol, drugs or gambling. Our helpline 0300 888 3853 gives more information about our services.

Story

We are running  in memory of our beloved Royston, who passed away earlier this year. We're raising funds for The Nicholas Mills Foundation (aka DrugFam) Penelope has run her first marathon (London October 2nd) and Jerry will be running the 49miles of the Peddars Way in Norfolk on Friday October 28th.

With three weeks remaining of the fundraising campaign (4th November) £11,025 has been raised, 50% more than the original target of £7,200. Raising £14,400 will pay for the induction and training of four additional bereavement support workers,  bolstering the existing Bereavement Support Team. This team provides nationwide support, 365days/year for loved ones, following the deaths of family and friends from drugs and alcohol use.
