Brainwaves NI is Northern Ireland’s only volunteer led brain tumour charity.  It was formed in 1994.  It provides research funding to Queen’s University, Belfast.  Research is vital.  Brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40.  Only 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to it
