We started the walk as part of a group with the aim of reaching Malawi in 3 months but the group did not achieve its aim. We decided to continue the walk, just the two of us and our miniature schnauzer Hector. We have now completed 82% of the walk having survived the heat of the Sahara and the dangers of the Democratic Republic of the Congo all virtually of course. We are now nearing the border of Rwanda.
