Story
Our mother got diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called adenoid cystic carcinoma in June 2012, which started at the base of her tongue and continued to spread throughout her body. Unfortunately, the time has come for her body to now rest in peace. We are heart broken but so grateful to have had a wonderful mother like her. She never moaned, and still always put others before herself.
Due to Covid restrictions, we cannot have a donation box at the funeral. Therefore, we have chosen to set up this page. Macmillan cared for our mother until her very last moment, and throughout the whole time she battled this terrible illness. The care and support they gave to our mother and our family was incredible.
