Save the Children

We fight for children everyday to help build a better future

Charity Registration No. England and Wales (213890) Scotland (SC039570)

Story

As if running one 5km race wasn't enough of a challenge I'm also joining forces with Chris from Thinly Spread to run The Color Run on 1st June too! This has to be the craziest 5km race going with runners being covered in a different coloured powder at each km.

So that's two 5km races within a week! Double the distance so I've also doubled my sponsorship target too :-)

Thank you for sponsoring me.

For the last couple of months I have been following the Couch to 5k training programme in an attempt to get fit and also with the aim of raising money for Save the Children. When I attended the Save the Children bloggers conference earlier in the year I was staggered by how much the charity does around the world and how many children need their support. Even here in the UK there are children living in poverty and in 2014 that just shouldn't be the case.

Please help me to help Save the Children give these children a future, to help to put a smile back on their faces and most importantly let them enjoy being children.

Thank you
