Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

update! I did the run today in 37 minutes, a personal best. I smell quite appalling! thanks for all your donations, I think the god of birthday will be pleased!

Egads. In September I’m going to turn 30. I drink too much, smoke too much, (especially for someone who gave up) and generally don’t do good deeds!

So to combat this and ensure good birthday karma, I have decided to do the Women’s Challenge 5K run in Hyde Park on Sunday 6th September and to try and raise some dosh for the Parkinson’s Disease Society. I’ll give you all a minute to stop laughing.

I'm going to have to wear trainers, which is something I hate so please dig deep!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
