Every 15 minutes, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight. Already, over 2 million people across the country live with impaired vision - including me and my sisters.. 

Eye to Eye is Moorfields Eye Charity's flagship event where supporters come together and walk to raise money for Moorfields and its academic partner, the Institute of Ophthalmology. We took part in Eye to Eye in 2018 as a family, travelling to London to walk over 14 miles together - we had a little trouble with some of the route signs and ended up adding almost a whole extra mile!

This year we'll be taking part again in our three separate bubbles across the country. Doing something together to raise money to help children and adults with eye conditions is a great way to help us stay connected in these strange times.

Due to current restrictions, Jess and I will be walking our 15 miles in 3 mile chunks over 5 days. We're excited to get out and see our local area, so look out for us in our bright yellow shirts in the week beginning to 22nd March.
