Story

Persimmon Homes Yorkshire Coast to Coast Challenge - 26, 27 & 28 May 2012

A team of Persimmon staff are taking on the Coast to Coast challenge in aid of Charity.

We will be cycling over 140 miles across England from Whitehaven on the west coast through the Lake District hopefully arriving three days later in Sunderland.

The team are: Steve Holmes, Lee Kilby, Jon Birkin, Simon Winship, Paul Saunders, Richard Hosie, Ian Wilson, Paul Fairlamb and Cate Palmer.

The Charity we are supporting is St Leonard’s Hospice which is based in York.

The Hospice needs to raise a staggering £3.4 million each year to be able to offer specialist care for people with life threatening illness, mainly cancer.

Many of our lives have been touched by cancer and we have lost loved ones. The care and support the Hospice provides makes the most difficult of times bearable.

Please give generously and sponsor the team.

Thank you
