Story

On 30th October 2015, we (Marc Preston, Colin Woods, Jason McEvoy, Peter Robertson, Mark Poole, Stewart Pitt and Steven Turnbull) shall begin our cycle, which will start from the ruins of the ancient city of Machu Pichu, cycling along the Sacred Valley of the Incas and through the Andes, before descending down into the Amazon basin and ending up in Cloud Forest. The trip will start at 2800m altitude and end up in the rainforest.

We will be raising funds for Nicola Murray Foundation and Sarah Hardie House in Fuka, Tanzania, with all of the funds being split between the two causes.

Nicola Murray Foundation was set up in memory of Nicola Murray, who sadly died on 28th April 2010, only 4 months after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.The charity was set up to fund research in to ovarian cancer For more information on the charity and the research they are

About the charity

The Nicola Murray Foundation has been set up in the memory of Nicola Murray, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in January 2010, she sadly died on 28th April 2010, less than 4 months later, aged 34. She requested that any fundraising in her name should benefit those with Ovarian cancer.
