Story
I’ve just celebrated my 80th birthday.
On September 26th I marked reaching this big milestone in a positive and definitive way by skydiving to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Research is desperately needed to eradicate dementia. Not only for those suffering the disease but for their loved ones who suffer alongside them.
I have, sadly, lost my father, Aunt, and some very dear friends to this disease. I have seen the lives they had lived , and enjoyed, cruelly taken away from them many years before they died. That’s why I want to raise money from this skydive to help fund much needed research.
If you can help with any amount at all I am sincerely grateful.
Thanks for reading.
Have a lovely day.
Jane

More about the Alzheimer’s Society
The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
