We champion play to help seriously ill children

Story

Having completed several challenges for charity previously by carrying heavy items on my back! Its time I did another charity challenge but as I am getting older, I thought I would do it with something softer on my back and for Children who need fun and support at a time when they most need it!

I am therefore running 100 Km non stop from London to Brighton on the 27th-28th May 2017 with a giant Teddy Bear on my back in aid of the "Starlight" charity for seriously and terminally ill children to brighten their lives!!! Please make a difference for those children the charity supports and sponsor me to complete this challenge!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am pleased to announce that the Monkey and I have a proper running partner and his name is Theo Summers, I will post pictures soon of the three man (Monkey +2) team in training! I'm a bit worried as Theo is a 29 year old racing snake and I will have to be the old wise one and keep us steady for the 15+ hours we will be running for!!! Watch this space!

Pete, Theo and the Monkey!
