Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As we'll be commemorating the loss of my brother 10 years ago at the end of this year, we felt it would be the appropiate time to set ourselves a challenge!

On the 10th April we'll be travelling up to John o'Groats, the most North-Easterly point of the mainland UK, and plan to cycle all the way back down to London.

We've set ourselves a challenge of riding over 750 miles in 9 days, averaging more than 80 miles per day.

The ride will be no easy quest so as we reach the end of a difficult day in the saddle the thought of knowing we have raised as much as we can for this great charity will definitely spur us on!

We've chosen Diabetes UK as the charity we'd like to raise money for as it's obviously close to our hearts and it would be great to raise as much money for them as possible to help with their continuing efforts of researching for treatment and cure for Type 1 & 2 diabetes.

Thanks!
Pete & Rich
