Story

Max’s story…. I have played for Broughton Youth Football team since I was 6 and we will soon be starting a new season as BYFC U13s.

Our pavilion at Broughton is very outdated, one of the main reason being that we only have one changing room, meaning there isn’t anywhere for the girls to change - which just isn’t right!

Starting on the 15th July at 1800 Dad and I will be helping cycle for 24hrs to help raise money for the new sports pavilion - thanks for your support 😀

Pete’s story… From starting off feeling a little like I was in the wrong place at the wrong time when I agreed to manage Max’s youth football team, I’ve been lucky enough to manage this great group of kids for the last about 5 years. Kids getting regular exercise, being outdoor (away from screens!) and seeing them develop & grow stronger as a team has been a privilege to help with!

At our home ground the current pavilion is in a sorry state of repair and is woefully lacking key facilities - this is the last stage of fundraising, pushing to raise  final £75k of the £600k build costs to help Max, his team, plus the many other teams and hundreds of users of this important village facility for the foreseeable future.
