On 20 March 2021, I'll be taking part in Men's Walk 2021 to honour the memory of my wonderful Mum who sadly died on February 26th this year, less than six weeks after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. I'll be walking 8 miles along the beautiful South West Coastal Path, finishing in Sidmouth where the last photo of me and Mum was taken. Team 'Chick' (Dad's pet name for Mum when they were courting) is made up of me, son's Josh and Sam, nephew Sean and good friends, Nick and Simon. We willl be walking in separate locations (socially distanced of course) to remember Mum and raise much needed funds for Hospiscare. The care, love and compassion shown to Mum,  Dad, my sister and me by the Hospiscare nurses was simply beyond compare and will never be forgotten. Hospiscare has lost over £1 million pounds in donations and funding during this pandemic, so if you are able to donate anything at all, you will have my gratitude as well as the knowledge that you be helping other families like mine get the very best end of life for someone dear to their hearts. Grateful thanks to everybody who has generously donated and helped me exceed my target of £250. I would very much like to get to £500 if possible and help even more families receive the very best care in their time of need, so if you can, please give what you can to this wonderful charity.
